Presentation Title:Getting Started with Accessibility Testing

Description: “Accessibility” refers to the accessibility of a computer system to all people, regardless of disability type or severity of impairment. Accessibility features are designed to enable use of a computer by a person with a disability or impairment and may include closed-captioning, speech recognition, text-to-speech, and keyboard shortcuts. An increasing number of organizations are developing websites and software applications with accessibility, perhaps to reach a wider audience and increase customers or perhaps to ensure they are ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant. Whatever the reason, knowing what Web Accessibility means, WCA Guidelines, and Accessibility Testing is critical! During this presentation, we’ll discuss all things you need to know to Get started with Accessibility Testing. We will address why, what, how, who, and when. After this session you will be well-educated on Accessibility and will be able to ask all the right…and tough…questions on your projects.
